K has been President of her own production, design, and consulting firm, SiG Productions, LLC, since 1982. Her producing and management work has included international tours, gala events and stage productions with Tony and Oscar winning artists. Her career has included work in live theatre, film, television and radio. She has worked in a whole spectrum of music genres – classical, pop, jazz, country, gospel and rap. Her theatre work includes drama, comedy and musical. Additionally, she has worked extensively in dance, both classical and modern, and in opera. As a designer K has won awards for her lighting and scenery designs. She is a National Gold Key recipient in the medium of watercolor. As a consultant, she has worked on project ranging from the renovation of historic theatres, new construction of theatres and night clubs, art and music buildings, leadership and student centers. Additionally, K has served as a consultant focused on needs assessments, board training, and strategic planning for not-for-profits. In the academic world, she has been a guest lecturer and held adjunct teaching positions with several universities and performing arts academies around the country.
